17 containers containing food were delivered by ship to Karachi by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government for immediate relief to Pakistan’s flood victims.
These containers are being sent to the flood affected areas of Sindh and Balochistan.
A special cargo ship from Dubai with 17 containers containing relief goods arrived at Port Qasim.
According to the spokesman, there are 275 tons of complete food in these containers.
The relief goods will be delivered to the flood affected areas of Sindh and Balochistan.
Consul General Bakhit Atiq Rumiti welcomed the cargo ship and received the goods.
He said that in this hour of difficulty, the government and people of UAE stand with Pakistan.
According to the spokesman, Consul General Bakhit Atiq al-Rumiti has been continuing to provide assistance to the flood victims in the UAE and the Emirates Red Crescent in Pakistan since the first day.
