A ship carrying 275 tons of food from Dubai reached Karachi for the flood victims

KARACHI: 17 containers containing food were delivered by ship to Karachi by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government for immediate relief to Pakistan’s flood victims.

A special cargo ship from Dubai arrived at Port Qasim carrying 17 containers of relief supplies.

According to the spokesman of the UAE Consul General, there are 275 tons of complete food in these containers, the relief goods will be delivered to the flood-affected areas of Sindh and Balochistan.

The spokesman said that the government and people of the UAE are with Pakistan in this difficult time, and since the first day, the UAE and the Emirates Red Crescent have continued to provide assistance to the flood victims in Pakistan.
