Attempt to smuggle drugs abroad from Pakistan failed, accused arrested

The personnel of the Airports Security Force recovered more than two and a half kilograms of heroin from the luggage of a passenger going to Qatar while conducting an operation at the Peshawar Airport.

According to the ASF spokesperson, Airport Security Force staff recovered 2.648 kg of heroin from a passenger going to Doha.

The spokesperson of ASF says that the passenger Muhammad Naeem had skillfully hidden the heroin in the inner parts of the bag, however, the ASF personnel failed the smuggling attempts by recovering drugs during the search of the goods.

The spokesman further said that the accused has been handed over to the ANF authorities for further legal action along with the recovered drugs after initial investigation.
