Damage case against Khawaja Asif, Imran Khan fined for asking for adjournment

A fine was imposed on Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan for seeking an adjournment in the Rs 10 billion damages case against Defense Minister Khawaja Asif.

In the Additional Sessions Court of Islamabad, a case of 10 billion rupees damages against Khawaja Asif was heard on behalf of Imran Khan.

Khawaja Asif’s lawyer Ali Shah Geelani advocate appeared in the court, while Imran Khan’s lawyers pleaded for postponement of the hearing and it was decided that Imran Khan could not appear due to his engagement in meetings.

Additional Sessions Judge Adnan Khan imposed a fine of 5 thousand rupees on behalf of Imran Khan’s lawyers seeking adjournment.
