On the death of the British Queen Elizabeth II, a day of mourning will be observed in Pakistan on September 12.
According to the announcement issued by the Prime Minister House, the national flag will remain at half-mast on the occasion of the mourning day on September 12.
The Prime Minister’s Office says that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif approved the day of mourning on the recommendation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It should be noted that the Queen of Great Britain Elizabeth II died on September 8 and her last rites will be performed on Monday, September 19.
British media say that Queen Elizabeth’s funeral will begin at 11 a.m. in Westminster Abbey.
