Punjab: Important Cabinet Committee meeting, important decisions for disabled employees and flood victims

In the meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Finance under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, important decisions were taken regarding the rehabilitation of disabled employees of the provincial government, flood victims and flood affected areas.

In the Cabinet Committee on Finance meeting, approval was given to increase the conveyance allowance of the blind, dumb, deaf and other disabled employees of the provincial government and to upgrade their posts.

In the meeting, the committee also approved a special relief package for the flood victims.

In the cabinet committee meeting chaired by the Chief Minister, it was approved to increase the conveyance allowance of disabled employees from 2,000 to 6,000, while the extension of the employment period of 664 disabled daily wages employees by 3 months was also approved.

In the meeting, a committee was also formed under the chairmanship of Provincial Minister Mohsin Leghari to ensure the solution of the problems of disabled employees on behalf of the Chief Minister of Punjab.

In the Cabinet Committee on Finance meeting, it was approved to give risk allowance equal to one month’s basic salary to the rescue 1122 staff.

On the other hand, a special relief package was also approved for the flood victims in the meeting.

In the meeting, the aid for the heirs of those who died in various accidents during the flood situation was increased from 8 lakhs to 10 lakhs, while in case of damage to a ready-made house, 4 lakhs and 2 lakhs were approved for giving assistance to unwashed houses. .

One and a half billion rupees was approved for the vaccine against Lumpy Skin, a disease affecting cattle in the province, while 9 billion was approved for the construction and repair of flood-affected roads.

In the meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Finance chaired by the Chief Minister of Punjab, approval was also given to release 3 billion 40 crore rupees for running eco-friendly buses in the province.
