Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan did not appear before the Joint Interrogation Team (JIT) of the police despite being summoned for the third time in the terrorism case despite the court order.
The JIT chief had issued a third summons notice to Imran Khan and he was summoned to Margalla police station today at 6 pm.
In the text of the notice issued to Imran Khan, it has been said that Imran Khan should appear before the JIT and answer the charges. He has obtained interim bail from the anti-terrorism court till September 12.
It was stated in the notice that despite the competent court order to obtain interim bail, you have not joined the investigation, nor have you presented your position about the incident.
According to the text of the notice, you were also summoned by the JIT on September 9 and 10 for the investigation of the case, the JIT waited for your arrival while you did not join the investigation.
Despite the third notice of the JIT, Imran Khan did not appear.
It should be noted that JIT had summoned Imran Khan earlier on September 9 and 10.
