Afghan bowler and Asif Ali’s bitter words, ICC announced its decision

The International Cricket Council (ICC) fined Pakistan batsman Asif Ali and Afghanistan bowler Fareed Ahmed 25% of the match fee.

Yesterday, ICC has announced its decision on the issue of heat between Asif Ali and Fareed Ahmed in the Asia Cup match.

The match referee fined both players for breaching the Level One Code of Conduct.

During the match, bitter words were exchanged between Asif Ali and Afghanistan team’s fast bowler Fareed Ahmed.

After Farid Ahmed dismissed Asif Ali, he used rude language and made obscene gestures, as a reaction Asif Ali picked up his bat and in the process made body contact.

After the match, both the players were summoned by the match referee and heard.

It should be remembered that in the match played yesterday, Pakistan defeated Afghanistan by one wicket in the last over after a sensational match.
