Due to lack of funds, only two players from Pakistan will be able to participate in the Asian and World 6 Reds Snooker Championship, with Pakistan number one Muhammad Sajjad missing out on the event.

According to Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association, Asian 6 Reds Snooker Championship will be played from September 25 to 28 while World 6 Reds Snooker Championship will be played from September 26 to October 9 in Malaysia.

Pakistan will be represented in the event by Ahsan Ramzan and Babar Masih, both the players will bear the expenses themselves to participate in the championship. National champions Muhammad Sajjad and Haris Tahir could not participate in the event due to lack of funds.

According to PBSA sources, the association is still waiting for its annual grant from the Pakistan Sports Board.

PBSA also does not have its own funds to send players on tours, so players will participate in the Asian and World Championships on a self-financed basis.
