National team wicketkeeper batsman Muhammad Rizwan has admitted that mistakes were made by our team in the final match of Asia Cup against Sri Lanka.
Briefly speaking at the end of the match, Rizwan said, “If a team keeps the toss in mind, it doesn’t deserve to be called or become champions. That’s what Sri Lanka did. We won the toss but they played like champions.”
“Our team made mistakes which they took advantage of, they deserved to win the final, they played consistently and put pressure on us,” Rizwan said.
Regarding the last 10 overs at the time of Pakistan’s bowling, Rizwan said that ‘We made mistakes, obviously we are human, but our team played hard throughout the tournament but in the end Sri Lanka won the match against us’.
It should be noted that social media users slammed Mohammad Rizwan for batting slowly in pursuit of Sri Lanka’s target of 171 runs in the final of the Asia Cup T20 tournament.
In the final, Mohammad Rizwan scored 55 runs off 49 balls which could not give the team success. Social media users criticized Mohammad Rizwan for slow batting and called him a selfish player.
