New Delhi, September 13 (Azadi Times) Maulana Arshad Madani, president of Jamiat Ulema-i-Hind, strongly objected to the decision to conduct a survey of madrasas in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, saying that his objection is based on the sectarian mentality in the current situation.
According to Azadi Times News Media, Maulana Arshad Madani said in a statement that the way sectarian forces have created an atmosphere of hatred in the entire country in the last few years and the role being played by the government in this regard, Muslims are forced to understand this.
That every policy is being brought to destroy their existence. He said that madrasas are being targeted by sectarian forces and their motives must be understood.
He said that we have always tried to run religious institutions on the basis of the rights given in the constitution, but the sectarians are involved in the conspiracy to destroy them. They are trying to justify the demolition of madrasas by making allegations. They cannot produce any evidence till the Day of Resurrection.
He has declared the demolition of madrasas by the government in Assam against the country’s constitution and democracy.
