Man arrested for performing Umrah in name of Queen Elizabeth

The Yemeni man who performed Umrah for the late Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain was arrested by the Saudi government.

According to the news published in the British newspaper, the Yemeni man arrested by the Saudi authorities claims that he went to Masjid al-Haram to perform Umrah for the Queen of Great Britain. A video was also posted.

In the video, he was in Makkah carrying a banner that read, ‘I performed Umrah for Queen Elizabeth II, I pray to God to grant her a place in heaven and count her among the righteous.’

When the video went viral on social media, people strongly criticized and demanded the immediate arrest of this person.

Later, in a statement issued by the Saudi authorities, it was stated that the man has been arrested and will be prosecuted.

It should be remembered that Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain died on September 8, her funeral will be held on September 19 in Westminster Abbey.
