Gilgit: (Azadi Times) The body of a third Indian administered Jammu Kashmir national has been recovered in Kharmang, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan administered Jammu Kashmir, in the past two weeks. The bodies of two other Indian nationals were found in the same area in July.

The latest body was found on August 5, 2023, by villagers in the Kharmang district of Gilgit Baltistan. The body has not been identified, but it is believed to be that of a young woman.

The Pakistani authorities have not yet handed over the bodies to the Indian authorities, despite multiple requests from the people and the administration of Kargil, Indian administered city of Jammu Kashmir.

The villagers in Kharmang have expressed concern about the lack of action by the Pakistani authorities. They say that the bodies are decomposing and that it is not appropriate to keep them in the area.

They have also called on the Pakistani authorities to create a mechanism to deal with such issues on humanitarian grounds.

The recovery of these bodies is a reminder of the ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan. It is also a reminder of the human cost of this conflict.

The Pakistani authorities must take action to hand over the bodies to the Indian authorities and to create a mechanism to deal with such issues on humanitarian grounds.
