Muzaffarabad, Jammu and Kashmir – a joint conference was convened at the mausoleum of Galnawaz Butt, a revered martyr, in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir (Pakistan administered Kashmir).
The conference brought together the Jammu and Kashmir National Students Federation (JKNSF) and the Jammu and Kashmir National Aeami’s Party in a poignant tribute to Butt’s sacrifice and the ongoing struggle for justice and freedom in the region.
Prominent attendees included Fazal Mahmood Baig, a National Council member and Advocate of the National People’s Party, and Khwaja Mujtaba Bandy, the Central Secretary General of the Jammu and Kashmir National Students Federation.
Together, they addressed pressing issues facing the region, particularly the scourge of terrorism, emphasizing the urgent need for the release of all detained prisoners and swift action against those perpetrating acts of violence.
Highlighting the gravity of the situation, they called upon the government, under the leadership of the Minister overseeing security affairs in Sudhanoti district, to initiate immediate measures to combat terrorism and ensure the safety and security of the populace.
Looking ahead, a significant event is slated for June 14th, as the Independent (Khudmukhtar) Jammu and Kashmir Conference is scheduled to take place at Uper Adda, Muzaffarabad Galnawaz Butt’s mausoleum.
The conference aims to galvanize support for the rights of the people, culminating in a rally honoring the martyrs.
Commencing from the mausoleum of Baba-e-Insaf Galnawaz Butt and the shrine of martyr Farooq Raza Qureshi, the rally will traverse through Aprada and Madina markets before concluding at the shrine of martyr Bahzad.
The joint conference serves as a poignant reminder of the resilience and unity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir in their pursuit of justice and freedom.
