Rawalakot, May 26, 2023 Azadi Times – The Business Forum Azad Kashmir (BFAK) has called on the government to provide maximum incentives to the business class in the budget of the next financial year to control rising inflation.

The BFAK made the demand in a pre-budget seminar organized in Rawalkot on Tuesday. The seminar was attended by representatives of various political parties, trade unions, businessmen’s associations, hotel associations and private school associations.

The participants of the seminar said that the government should take advantage of new technology to meet the increasing challenges and give special attention to agriculture. They also called for more investment in online business and new marketing tools to attract tourists to the region.

The participants demanded that the government should include the IT and tourism sectors in the next fiscal year’s budget and provide maximum incentives to the investors in these sectors. They also said that the problems of the business class wishing to invest in these sectors should be solved under one window operation.

Addressing the seminar, BFAK President Sardar Imran Aziz said that every year before the budget, the forum organizes such seminars in various districts and universities of Azad Kashmir to make appropriate recommendations to the government.

He said that unfortunately governments present “copy-paste” budgets which never improve the conditions of the common man. He urged the government to take into confidence such forums and their recommendations should be taken into account so that a people-friendly budget can be presented.
