Thirteen foreign individuals (non state) residing in hotels, rented residential rooms, and shops were arrested during the operation, and legal proceedings were initiated against them under sections 55/109, leading to their detention.

Recent incidents, including the abduction attempt of a student from a swimming club and an endeavor to lure a two-year-old girl from Chinar Village by a foreign national, prompted swift action from the district administration and police against illegally residing foreign individuals.

Assistant Commissioner Hattian Bala Iyaz Chughtai emphasized the ongoing stringent measures, including search operations and legal actions, against such individuals across the district.

Property owners were reminded of their obligation to inform the local police station when renting out accommodation, shops, or rooms to foreigners.

Failure to comply with this requirement would result in strict legal consequences as part of the National Action Plan. Local residents were advised to ensure that foreign individuals sign lease agreements with the local police to avoid legal repercussions and disturbances.
