Prime Minister Azad Government of Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan attended the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected administration at the Central House of Journalism in Muzaffarabad.

Upon the arrival of the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, newly elected President Wahid Iqbal Butt, Secretary General Basharat Mughal and other journalists welcomed him by showering flowers.

The welfare of the press club and journalists is all for development and prosperity. To use these means, the field of journalism is the main means of reaching the public. Journalists of Azad Kashmir are carrying out their responsibilities in an auspicious manner even in adverse conditions.

The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that writers should expose the ugly face of India in front of the world and raise their voice for the rights of the people of Occupied Kashmir. Every role of journalism in the construction and development of society has been exemplary. Those who do justice with the pen deserve honor and respect at every place, the welfare of journalists is among our priorities.

The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that for several decades, the entire nation has been making hand chains on February 5 Kashmir Solidarity Day to draw the world’s attention to Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir. This year, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed solidarity with the people of Azad Kashmir and Occupied Kashmir in the Legislative Assembly. Despite political differences, all political parties are united on the issue of Kashmir.

The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that I suggest that a representative delegation of government and opposition members of parliament and state journalists should be sent to Asian countries, the Middle East and other western countries to highlight the issue of Kashmir at the international level. , expose the Indian brutality in front of the Chief Members of Parliament and important government figures. In order to raise the voices of the oppressed Kashmiri brothers and sisters around the world, I am ready to pay the expenses of the delegation including journalists in my personal capacity. The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that our government is bringing innovation in the information department. The Ministry of Information should make the journalists go on inter-provincial trips where the journalists meet historical places, shrines and journalistic organizations. We have to take advantage of our abilities.

The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that in the joint session of the Parliament, all the political parties of Pakistan passed a unanimous resolution on Kashmir, but some elements tried unsuccessfully to derail it. We should fulfill our responsibilities for the country and nation. No journalist can blackmail a politician.

The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that an academy should be started for improvement in the field of journalism, where journalists should be exposed to modern sciences and arts through short courses. Feelings have the quality of a seasoned journalist in words. Journalists should criticize the government constructively. Constructive criticism is welcome but questions should be reasonable. Fake news undermines journalistic credibility.

The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that he was deeply saddened to see the plight of the women there during his visit to the National Institute of Rehabilitation. The past governments did not focus on welfare works. Our government has initiated measures to increase monthly assistance to fifty men disabled for life in the 2005 earthquake in Muzaffarabad and for the welfare of disabled women in Islamabad.

The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir also offered a special prayer for the late senior journalist Dilzeer Abbasi’s ascension and elevation.

On this occasion, President Central Press Club, Wahid Iqbal Butt, presented a letter of appreciation and expressed full support for the measures taken by the government headed by Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan for the freedom movement, construction, development, and prosperity of Kashmir, calling them historic. gave
