Amjad Chaudhry Elected Uncontested President of All Kashmir Newspapers Society

Islamabad (Dharti News) Amjad Chaudhry, the editor-in-chief of the daily Saday Chinar, will be elected president of All Kashmir Newspapers Society unopposed, the rival candidate Zaheer Jagwal has withdrawn. According to the announcement issued by the Chief Election Commissioner of AKNS. Papers were submitted for the presidency of AKNS by 2 candidates Chief Editor of Daily Chinar Amjad Chaudhry and Chief Editor of Khabarnama Zaheer Jagwal. He was declared unopposed as the president whose success has been officially notified. Now polling will be held on January 14 for secretary general and vice president. Shafqat Zia, Tanveer Tanoli and Naseer Anwar Chaudhry will contest for the seats.
