LEEPA VALLEY: A destructive fire recently wreaked havoc in Leepa Valley.

Originating from an electrical surge in the main power lines of the Leepa Valley Power Station, the flames swiftly spread, consuming two residential buildings and leaving behind nothing but ash and ruin.

The tragic incident resulted in the displacement of five families, who, prior to the fire, were already enduring financial struggles. The affected households included widows Seema, wife of Ali Zaman, and Nasreen, wife of Muhammad Saleem, alongside three other individuals named Nasim, Rashid, and Wasim.

The blaze also inflicted collateral damage, rendering numerous electrical appliances and devices in the surrounding vicinity of Leepa Valley unusable, compounding the overall impact of the disaster.

In response to the crisis, the community rallied together, with the Red Foundation School students, the Pakistan Army, and local authorities making concerted efforts to contain the blaze.

Despite their combined efforts, the fire could not be entirely subdued, resulting in significant losses for the affected families.

As the families grapple with the aftermath of the tragic event, the inhabitants of Leepa Valley have urged swift assistance from the government and humanitarian organizations.

The plea highlights the urgent need for provisions such as shelter, warm clothing, and food supplies, vital for the survival and recovery of the displaced families amidst the challenging circumstances in Leepa Valley.
