Imran Khan did his best to give voting rights to immigrants, but the PDM government enacted legislation to take away this right from immigrants as soon as it came. Tehreek-e-Insaf has always been strongly supported by immigrants. Imran Khan is the only leader who can bring the country out of crisis and change its destiny. Tehreek-e-Insaf will form the government again with a two-thirds majority in the general election. He expressed these views yesterday while addressing a function organized in his honor by Tehreek-e-Insaf North.
Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Sahibzada Jahangir, Dr. Abdullah Riar, Makhdoom Tariq, Naeem Malik, Javed Jaedi, and officials and workers of Tehreek-e-Insaf from across the UK participated in the event. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Taqdees Gilani said that immigrants have always played their role in the construction and development of the country and highlighted the issue of Kashmir at the international level. Immigrants are the backbone of Tehreek-e-Insaaf. Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan always took interest in the problems of immigrants and took practical steps to give them rights, but the PDM government opposed the right to vote for immigrants.
Imran Khan is the only leader who is trusted by the entire nation including the immigrants. He said that the immigrants should play an active role to bring the issue of Kashmir to the international community so that the ugly face of India can be exposed to the world. Professor Taqdis Gilani said that there is a large number of Kashmiris in Britain who are contributing to the improvement of the country’s economy. He said that Overseas Kashmir should invest in Azad Kashmir and Tehreek-e-Insaf government will give them full support.
