Karachi Election Results: PPP and Independent Candidates Lead in Key Constituencies

Karachi (Azadi Times): Following the completion of polling across the country for the general elections, the process of unveiling unofficial and non-governmental results has commenced. Results from Karachi have also surfaced.

In constituency NA-230, Malir 2, out of 163 polling stations, results from 12 stations have been disclosed unofficially. According to these results, Pakistan Peoples Party’s Syed Rafiullah is leading with 4379 votes, while Pakistan Muslim League-N’s Haji Mazhar Ali Shujra is in second place with 1810 votes.

In National Assembly constituency NA-234, results from one polling station have been unveiled unofficially. Independent candidate Faheem Khan is leading with 135 votes, whereas Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan’s nominated candidate Amir Pirzada is second with 96 votes.

In NA-239, Karachi South 1, out of 181 polling stations, results from one station have been unofficially announced. According to these results, PPP’s Nabeel Ahmed Gabol is ahead with 1024 votes, followed by independent candidate Muhammad Yaseer with 828 votes.

In National Assembly constituency NA-241, Karachi South 3, results from 5 out of 234 polling stations have been disclosed unofficially. Independent candidate Khurram Sher Zaman is leading with 1352 votes, while MQM Pakistan’s Dr. Muhammad Farooq Sattar is in second place with 335 votes.

In NA-242, Karachi Kemari 1, out of 125 polling stations, results from 10 stations have been unofficially disclosed. Independent candidate Dawood Khan Sabir is leading with 1189 votes, and PPP’s Abdul Qadir Mandokhail is second with 706 votes.

In constituency NA-243, Kemari 2, results from 310 out of 310 polling stations have been unveiled unofficially. Independent candidate Shujaat Ali is leading with 204 votes, while PPP’s Abdul Qadir Patel is in second place with 42 votes.

In NA-244, Karachi West 1, out of 129 polling stations, results from 3 stations have been unofficially disclosed. Independent candidate Aftab Jahangir is leading with 699 votes, while MQM Pakistan’s Dr. Muhammad Farooq Sattar is in second place with 560 votes.

In National Assembly constituency NA-245, Karachi West 2, results from one out of 256 polling stations have been unofficially disclosed. According to these results, MQM Pakistan’s Syed Hafizuddin is leading with 170 votes, followed by independent candidate Ataullah with 119 votes.

In NA-246, Karachi West 3, results from 291 out of 291 polling stations have been disclosed unofficially. Independent candidate Malik Muhammad Aarif Awan is leading with 714 votes, while Jamaat-e-Islami’s Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman is second with 333 votes.

In constituency NA-247, Karachi Central 1, results from 267 out of 267 polling stations have been disclosed unofficially. MQM Pakistan’s Khawaja Azhar-ul-Hassan is leading with 1204 votes, while Jamaat-e-Islami’s Mian Munim Zafar Khan is second with 590 votes.

In NA-248, Karachi Central 2, results from 361 out of 361 polling stations have been unveiled unofficially. Independent candidate Arslan Khalid is leading with 2049 votes, while MQM Pakistan’s Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui is second with 280 votes.

In constituency NA-249, Karachi Central 3, results from 320 out of 320 polling stations have been disclosed unofficially. According to these results, MQM Pakistan’s Ahmed Saleem Siddiqui is leading with 370 votes, followed by Jamaat-e-Islami’s Muslim Parvez with 70 votes.

In NA-250, Karachi Central 4, results from one out of 307 polling stations have been disclosed unofficially. According to these results, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan’s Farhan Chishti is leading with 450 votes, while Jamaat-e-Islami’s Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman is second with 227 votes.
