Muzaffarabad (AMV News) The Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has launched a scheme to provide loans of up to Rs 1 million for the development of tourism in the independent state:
Mr. Khawar Saeed inaugurated the scheme during a prestigious ceremony. Senior staff including Bank Divisional Heads attended the inauguration ceremony. On the occasion, the President said that the objective of this easy loan scheme is to construct new guest houses at tourist destinations in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and to relocate and renovate residential houses to guest houses. He said that the staff of the bank would use full professionalism for the success of the scheme.
An awareness campaign has already been launched among those interested in promoting tourism. Awareness banners have been put up by the bank at various places and brochures are being distributed to increase public interest in investing in tourism. Under the scheme introduced by the bank for tourism development, the loan limit has been fixed at five years with minimum monthly installments, the fastest processing. It may be mentioned here that Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir offers advanced salary scheme, Gold Loan, Home Construction, Car and Motor to the employees to meet their financial needs including providing banking facilities at their doorstep to the customers. It provides loans to the public on easy terms for the purchase of bicycles and other products.
Now the bank has introduced a special scheme for the development of tourism. Under which loans have also been provided to Banjusa, Toli Pir, Mirpur, Rawalkot, Neelum Valley and other tourist destinations. The scheme will also enable low-income earners to contribute to the development of tourism and the development of the state.
