During the blockade, the police saw a person moving in suspicious circumstances. When the police interrogated him on the basis of suspicion, their suspicion turned into a little more certainty. Later, during the search of the person, the police recovered heroin worth about Rs 12,000 i.e. about 2.5 grams of heroin from him.
The accused has been identified as Yasir Hussain s/o Mohd Amin Shaikh, a native of Kishtwar area of Jammu and Kashmir and was currently living in Jammu. At present, the police have registered a case against the accused and further investigation is on. Now it has to be seen whether some new information emerges from such vicious drug smugglers.
