Jammu: Interstate drug smuggler woman arrested by police

On Wednesday, the Samba police arrested an interstate female drug peddler. Along with this, about 150 grams of heroin has been recovered from him.
According to the information, SSP Benam Tosh said in a press conference organized in this regard that the arrested woman smuggler has been smuggling heroin (Chitta) from Punjab to Kathua, Samba, Jammu and surrounding areas.
Along with this, she used to supply goods to the local smugglers of Jammu division for further sale. The police arrested him from outside a kulle in Samba. SSP Benam Tosh further said that in a fortnight, Samba police have arrested four top interstate drug smugglers, who were supplying heroin and other narcotics from Punjab and Kashmir to Jammu division. It is expected that soon some more drug peddlers or drug users may be caught by the police.
