Meanwhile, news is coming that after Doda district, now people are in awe of cracks in 11 houses in Sujmatna area of Ramsu tehsil of Ramban. Let us inform that now only five families have been sent to a safe place. It is believed that the hill in the area is slowly cracking. The local people are also seeing it linked to the Joshimath incident in Uttarakhand. He blamed the company building the highway. The same geologists will reach for investigation on Monday i.e. today.
According to information, in Sujmatna situated on a hill in Ramban district near Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, cracks started appearing in dozens of houses. This information was immediately given to the administration. The Tehsildar and Station House Officer immediately reached the affected area and with the help of the police shifted the people present in five cracks-prone houses to a school. Arrangements were made for their food and drink.
Those affected include six members from the family of Mohd Ashraf, nine from Mohd Hanif, 11 from Mohd Rafiq and six from Mohd Ashraf. At present six houses have minor cracks in the walls and floors. Officers are keeping an eye on the entire area.
