Jammu News: On bringing more and more citizens of Jammu and Kashmir under the ambit of insurance, know what the Lieutenant Governor said

For your information, let us tell you that Tapan Singhal, Managing Director and CEO of Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Limited, met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan on Friday to contribute to the development of the state through insurance company solutions and close cooperation and active cooperation with the government. The participants discussed the company’s roadmap to bring more citizens under insurance coverage and protect insurance.
It was also informed that Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Limited has been appointed as the Lead General Insurer for the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India as part of its initiative to increase insurance penetration across the country. Former MLA, BJP leader Devendra Rana also called on the Lt Governor at Raj Bhavan. He thanked the Lt Governor for infrastructural and industrial development in the UT and for the initiative taken to involve the common man in decision making. He also appreciated the fast track recruitment process by the Public Service Commission.
Rana discussed welfare issues of various sections of the society including youth, PoJK displaced families, West Pakistani refugees and protectorate property holders. He also spoke on the issue of pending payments under MGNREGA. The Lt Governor assured the former MLA that the genuine issues raised by him would be looked into seriously. Later renowned sculptor Ravindra Singh Jamwal, Sarpanch Birpur Veena Jamwal also called on the Lt Governor.
