RAWALAKOT – (Web Desk) Organized by Kashmir Liberation Commission, Poonch University organized an elocution competition titled “Ideology of Hindutva and its Challenges and Dangers in Illegal Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir” in which students from universities across Azad Kashmir participated.
The chief guest of the ceremony was General Secretary of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Azad Kashmir and Chairman Prime Minister Inspection and Implementation Commission, Raja Mansoor Khan.
Poonch University Vice Chancellor Dr Zakaria Zakir and Liberation Commission Director Raja Muhammad Aslam Khan also participated in the event. Azad Kashmir University student Hameed Awan won the first position, Poonch University student Dua Fatima won the second position, and Must University Mirpur student Dawar Nadeem won the third position.
Speaking at the event, Chief Guest Chairman Inspection and Implementation Commission Raja Mansoor Khan said that Modi is promoting Hindutva thinking in Kashmir. 5 After August 2019, the Modi government started to change the population ratio in Kashmir and more than 4 million people have been issued Kashmiri domicile.
He said that the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf under the leadership of Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan is using all resources to highlight the issue of Kashmir worldwide. Raja Mansoor Khan said that Imran Khan also said in Kotli Jalsa.
After the independence of Kashmiri, it will be decided according to the aspirations of the people living here. Vice Chancellor of Poonch University, Dr Zakaria Zakar said that India is violating human rights, which needs to be highlighted all over the world.
Students should play their full role in bringing the inhumane treatment of India to the world on social media. Hindutva is not only a threat to the Muslims in Kashmir but it is also a clear violation of India’s laws.
Talking about the objectives of the competition, he said that to highlight the illegal policies of the Modi government in Kashmir and the atrocities and Hindutva thinking in the world, it is to bring educated youth to the front and to break the Indian propaganda on social media.
He said that the world can understand the words of educated and young people in a better way, for which this competition was also held in English so that the words of our young people in all countries can be heard and understood.
The speeches highlighted the dangers posed by Modi’s promotion of Hindutva ideology in Kashmir, including Kashmir. The students said that the Modi government has broken the mountains of oppression in Kashmir and by abolishing the 370 and 35 A, Hindus are being settled in Kashmir, which can change the proportion of the population there.
Thousands of Hindus have been settled illegally in the last 3 years. Students of Azad Jammu and Kashmir University, Women University Bagh, Poonch University Rawalkot, University of Kotli and Mist University Mirpur participated in the speech competition.
To clarify the performances and positions of the students in the speech competition, the three judges included Hurriyat Conference representatives Altaf Wani, Sardar Jahanzeb and Hamza.
Assistant Director of Kashmir Liberation Commission Sajid Mahmood presided over the ceremony organized in connection with the speech competition, while faculty members, students and journalists of the universities of Azad Kashmir participated in the ceremony.
Finally, Chairman Inspection Commission Raja Mansoor Khan, Vice-Chancellor Jamia Poonch and Director Liberation Commission distributed certificates of appreciation, shields and prize checks to students who showed outstanding performance
