Former AJK PM Sardar Tanveer Ilyas booked for attack on Centaurus Mall

MUZAFFARABAD: Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, the former Prime Minister (PM) of AJK, Pakistan-administered Kashmir, is facing charges for trying to seize control of Centaurus Mall’s central offices and steal important documents.

The mall’s security chief, Col. (Ret.) Tipu Sultan filed a case against Ilyas and his associates.

According to the FIR, Ilyas, along with an armed group, broke into the mall’s office, threatened security personnel, and allegedly fired shots. Security guards prevented them from taking over the office.

The FIR also mentions threats made against Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan and Sardar Dr. Rashid Ilyas Khan and an assault on a security officer.
