Pakistan: Hamza Shehbaz took oath as the Chief Minister of Punjab for the second time on Saturday


LAHORE –  Punjab’s second elected Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz has taken the oath of office once again on Saturday. 

Azadi Times  – The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Governor House, Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman administered the oath of office to him. 

Leaders and workers of the ruling party Muslim League-N and its allied parties participated in the ceremony. 

Earlier on Friday, Chief Minister Punjab Voting was held in which Hamza Shahbaz was elected Chief Minister for the second time after an alleged rolling of Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Dost Mazari. Earlier, Hamza Shehbaz became the Chief Minister of Punjab on 30 May 2022. 

The Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, referring to the decision of the Supreme Court and the letter of the president of the Q-League, Chaudhry Shujaat, rejected 10 votes of the Muslim League-Q and issued a ruling to retain Hamza Shahbaz as the Chief Minister of Punjab.
