Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appeared in the Islamabad High Court and assured to solve the issue of missing persons.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appeared before the Islamabad High Court in the case of missing persons. Prime Minister’s assurance to solve the missing persons case. He said that they are answerable to the people and Allah Ta’ala. The Chief Justice remarked that it is the responsibility of the state to redress their sufferings. Detention centers have been set up from where people have been rescued but no action has been taken.

The case related to missing persons was heard under the chairmanship of Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Athar Minullah, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also appeared in the court.

Chief Justice Athar Minullah remarked that the court has given you trouble because it is a huge issue and has been going on in this court for many months.

He said that the response of the state is not coming in this case which is the responsibility of the state, a chief executive ruled this country for nine years, he wrote in his book Fakhria that he sold his people abroad. It seems that maybe this was the policy of the state, but if we talk about the constitution, there cannot be a state within the state.

He said that this court is not an investigation agency, it is a constitutional court, the matter was sent to the federal cabinet, you formed a cabinet committee, but this matter is not only about the formation of the committee, this court thought it appropriate to tell you that actually What is the issue?

Justice Athar Manullah said that the commission of missing persons and its proceedings which came out are very painful, it is the responsibility of the state to solve their problems, detention centers have been established from where people have been recovered but no action has been taken. No, this impression affects our national security, the political leadership has to address this issue.

Chief Justice Islamabad High Court said that missing people is the biggest form of torture, the court has no other option but to ask the executive, when the state comes and says that we don’t know who disappeared people. What to do then?

He said that you are working for the flood victims and came to the court understanding this issue, enforced disappearances are a violation of the constitution, either you have to say that the constitution is not restored in its original form, the national security of this country is your responsibility. At hand, there are many issues of governance in the country, the problems of this country will be solved only when the constitution is fully restored.

He further said that civilians are under executive control, this court has confidence in you, when a small child comes to court, who should the court answer, the child was also met with the then prime minister, you solve this court. Tell me who should be held responsible in the case of missing persons?

He said that the Committee on Missing Persons has held 6 meetings, I will present the report of each meeting of the Committee on Missing Persons in the court, the report will not be a story but will be based on facts.
