PCB’s initiatives for bilateral cricket in Pakistan are commendable, Greg Barkley

International Cricket Council (ICC) Chairman Greg Barclay has said that he is very happy to come to Pakistan, Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) initiatives for bilateral cricket in Pakistan are commendable.

The two-day visit of ICC Chairman Greg Barkley and Chief Executive Jeff Aldries to Lahore has come to an end.

Greg Barkley and Jeff Aldries visited the National Cricket Academy, Lahore Fort, Lahore Museum, Minar-e-Pakistan and Safe City Authority during their two-day visit.

ICC Chairman Greg Barclay says that his idea is to visit all the member countries of the ICC and see how cricket and its administrative affairs are handled in each member country under its jurisdiction. are being run because each country is different from the others in terms of its size, economy, and cricket ranking.

Greg Barkley praised the facilities of cricket in Pakistan and said that the facilities and programs related to cricket are very great, now that international cricket has returned to Pakistan, the Pakistan Cricket Board has successfully implemented its bilateral cricket arrangements. is playing a role.

He expressed hope that we will see Pakistan’s male and female cricketers at the next level and from a commercial point of view it will also have positive effects.

Greg Barkley said that he was very pleased with the briefing he was given on the development of male and female cricketers and his plans at the management level and he believes that in terms of participation and success at the international level. In terms of potential, the future of Pakistan’s female cricketers will be very good.

Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee Chairman Najam Sethi says that he is grateful to Greg Barkley and Jeff Aldries for this visit, which provided an opportunity for ICC and Pakistan Cricket Board to exchange their thoughts and ideas.

He said that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) believes in continuing to engage with the ICC and work together on global strategies and projects as it is not only in the best interest of all member countries but also in common with the ICC. It will also help in achieving the objective of attracting new viewers while further promoting cricket

It should be noted that this was Greg Barkley’s first visit to Pakistan. On this visit, Greg Barkley and Jeff Aldries met the chairman of the management committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Najam Sethi, and other officials of the board at the PCB headquarters, Gaddafi Stadium. Discussions were held on common issues related to the development of cricket and its further promotion.
