Muzaffarabad (AMV): In Azad Kashmir, 25 more people have been confirmed to have corona virus in the last 24 hours, 129 corona patients have recovered and one corona patient has died while 235 new people have been tested for suspected corona.
Out of the 25 new cases, 03 are from Muzaffarabad, 05 from Jhelum Valley, 10 from Mirpur, 1 from Bhimber and 06 from Kotli while one died in Kotli due to coronation. Coronavirus has been detected out of which 686 people have recovered and been discharged while 441 patients are undergoing treatment and 33 patients have died. According to the report released by the Public Health Department, out of 686 people recovered in Azad Kashmir, 287 are from Muzaffarabad, 127 from Jhelum Valley, 12 from Neelum, 7 from Rawalkot, 53 from Rawalkot, 65 from Haveli and 07 from Sadhnauti.
46 patients from Mirpur, 82 patients from Bhimber, 85 patients from Bhimber and 42 patients from Kotli who have been discharged. There are treatments including isolation in the hospital 10 in Zafarabad, Isolation Center NewPM House Muzaffarabad 15, DHQ Hospital Jhelum Valley 01, CMH Rawalkot 5, DHQ Bagh 03, DHQ Haveli 03, DHQ Sadhnauti 10, DHQ 42 patients are being treated at Q Mirpur, 03 at New City Hospital Mirpur, 21 at DHQ Bhimber and 11 at DHQ Kotli.
The test report will come in a day or two with reference to possible cases of corona. According to the report, 58 quarantine centers have been set up in all the districts. At all the entry points, there is a staff of health department who is constantly screening the passengers. PCR testing is being done at Virology Lab Abbas Institute of Medical Sciences, Divisional Headquarters Hospital Mirpur and CMH Rawalkot. Cooperation of World Health Organization Infection, Prevention and Control (IPC) training has been started in all isolation centers in Azad Kashmir.
At all entry points, District Rapid Response Teams and Health Staff are conducting full screening of people coming from areas affected by Karuna. Quarantine centers and home quarantines are being conducted by contacting certified individuals. Police and administration teams are working at all entry points in Azad Kashmir while the quarantine centers are being maintained by the administration and health teams are also present with them.
