LIVE BLOG: JK Joint Awami Action Committee's Historic Rally – Lal Chowk, Muzaffarabad
No Obstruction from AJK Government as University Ground Opened for Protest

In a commendable move, the Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir did not impose any restrictions on the Awami Action Committee’s protest gathering. No administrative hurdles were placed, and the local administration along with the police fully cooperated with the organizers. As the crowd swelled beyond expectations, the university ground was opened to accommodate the participants.
University Gate Opened for Massive Public Turnout
Public confidence in political parties seems to be shifting rapidly toward the Awami Action Committee in Azad Kashmir. Despite extremely harsh weather conditions, people from every district made their way to Muzaffarabad in large numbers.
Midnight – All Expectations Surpassed
Every estimate, every prediction – wrong. The rally has shattered turnout records. Even veteran activists say they’ve never seen such a crowd in Muzaffarabad. “This is no longer a protest, it’s a public revolution,” one local elder remarks.
People Still Pouring In, Crowd Reaches CMH Road
Even at this hour, more convoys are arriving. The crowd now stretches from Lal Chowk to CMH Road. There’s barely room to walk. Security volunteers and organizers are struggling to manage the overflowing crowd.
Ground Cmpletely Filled Before Main Convoy Arrival
The Upper Adda ground is now packed to capacity. What’s even more striking is that this turnout occurred before the arrival of the central convoy. People from across Azad Kashmir are still entering the city in buses, jeeps, and on foot.
Sea of People Floods Lal Chowk
As the sun sets, Lal Chowk turns into a human sea. Thousands have gathered in the heart of Muzaffarabad to participate in the Shaheed Day rally organized by the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee. The energy is unmatched; patriotic chants echo across the city.
