Jammu: Doctor attacked in SMGS hospital, staff demands CRPF security

The doctors in Jammu’s SMGS hospital have demonstrated for their safety all the doctors of SMGS Hospital have demanded CRPF and Army for their security. They say that the security of the doctors in the hospital is in danger. Azadi Times reported,,,

In fact, the whole matter flared up when the relative of the patient, who had accompanied the patient to SMG’s hospital last night, started hitting the doctor on duty. While protesting today, the doctors said that the assailant fled from the spot despite the presence of policemen present there. Later the police registered an FIR against him, but the attacker is yet to be arrested.

Doctors say that the condition of the patient who came to that doctor last night was very serious. Her baby was not fully prepared in the womb. Even in such a situation, the doctor tried his best to fulfill his duty. But his relative who came with the patient started beating the doctor. After which that doctor called the police. But the policeman chased the assailant away from there.

Not only this, doctors say that around 150 CCTV cameras are lying closed inside the hospital. In such a situation, any person can come to the hospital and execute any incident.
