Azad Kashmir’s 15-member cabinet takes oath President AJK Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry took oath

Muzaffarabad: (Daily AMV Tribune) Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry, President Azad Jammu and Kashmir, on Thursday administered oath of office to members of Azad Kashmir’s 15-member cabinet:


Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan Niazi, Senior Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, members of the Legislative Assembly and senior officials of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Azad Kashmir from far flung areas of Azad Kashmir attended the swearing in ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr Muzaffarabad. Judges and lawyers attended. 

Members of the Legislative Assembly who took oath as Ministers of State include Azhar Sadiq, Ms. Shahida Saghir, Chaudhry Arshad Hussain, Chaudhry Ali Shan, Zafar Iqbal Malik, Chaudhry Muhammad Akhlaq, Nisar Ansar Abdali, Sardar Muhammad Hussain Khan and Sardar Fahim Akhtar Rabbani. , Sardar Mir Akbar Khan, Khawaja Farooq Ahmed, Chaudhry Muhammad Rashid, Dewan Ali Khan Chughtai, Muhammad Akmal Sargala and Abdul Majid Khan. 


Addressing the participants after the swearing in ceremony, the President congratulated the new ministers and expressed the hope that the new cabinet would meet the expectations of the people and solve the problems of the common man as well as the Kashmir Independence Movement. It will play its full role in bringing it to its logical conclusion and building and developing Azad Kashmir and making it a true welfare state. 


He also expressed the hope that the members of the Cabinet would use all their energies for the welfare of the people apart from the indiscriminate development of the entire state, development of institutions and stability and public expectations of these important national responsibilities.
