Bagh: no one can stop the Local Body elections in AJK, Prime Minister

Bagh (Azadi Times) Prime Minister of Independent Government of Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan has said that no one can stop the local body elections in AJK, after 31 years the power is going to be transferred to the lower level, whoever opposes the local government elections.

They will be considered enemies of the people and the people will hold such people accountable. Imran Khan’s vision of local body elections in Azad Kashmir was what we promised in the general election.

Political workers, whether they belong to any party, have the right to contest elections and play their role in solving the problems of their area. After 31 years, local body elections are going to be held in the state and the power is going to be transferred to the common man.

Those who will obstruct it will be made a lesson forever. He expressed these views while talking to public delegations and media representatives on the occasion of participating in the dawat walima of Raja Iftikhar’s son Raja Iftikhar at Kafalgarh in his constituency.

They joined Tehreek-e-Insaf along with their colleagues, while dozens of independent candidates, including the president of Aam Aadmi Awami Party, also announced their withdrawal in favor of Tehreek-e-Insaf candidates, who were garlanded and welcomed by Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan.

On this occasion, a large number of people from the three constituencies of District Bagh, including the workers of Dynamik Insaf, were also present.

Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan further said that there is no security issue in the local body elections, the conscious people here are capable of We will not allow law and order to be disturbed.

The entire nation should support the government in organizing joint local elections with unity and brotherhood so that people who are against the transfer of power to the lower level can be given a face-to-face answer.

And the power can be given to those who actually have the right. Bagh is the land of martyrs and ghazis, I will always remember the role played by the people here in the election. We will never let people down.
