Breaking News: Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee to Hold Crucial Meeting in Sarsawa, Kotli

Sarsawa, Kotli: The Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JKJAAC) is set to hold a pivotal meeting in Sarsawa on March 8, 2025, to address the government’s failure to fulfill its promises. The meeting, organized by the JKJAAC Core Committee, is expected to make significant decisions regarding the ongoing struggle for public rights in the region.

According to sources, the government had committed to addressing key public demands within three months, but these promises remain unfulfilled. The JKJAAC has expressed frustration over the delay and warned that it reserves the right to withdraw from the six-month agreement if the government continues to neglect its obligations.

The Core Committee meeting will focus on strategizing the next steps in the public movement, with the possibility of escalating protests if the government fails to act. “The people of Jammu and Kashmir have waited long enough. If the government does not honor its commitments, we will have no choice but to take stronger measures,” a JKJAAC spokesperson stated.

The JKJAAC has been at the forefront of advocating for public rights, including better governance, economic reforms, and improved living conditions. The upcoming meeting in Sarsawa is expected to draw significant attention, as it could mark a turning point in the ongoing struggle for justice and accountability.
