In a letter issued on Monday, all Chief Medical Officers have been directed to re-establish flu clinics in all hospitals besides increasing the rate of daily corona diagnostic tests and RT-PCR.

 

Expressing displeasure over the decrease in tests, the order from Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Rather, further stated that it has also been observed that there has been no increase in the number of RTPCR tests.

 

However, the rate of daily RTPCR tests should be 80%. Apart from this, according to the directives of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, reestablish flu clinics in every hospital. On the other hand, reports of 40 more people came positive in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.

The total number of covid victims has become 4 lakh 79 thousand 800 in Jammu & Kashmir as of April 4, 2022. While the total number of deceased is 4786.

During the last 24 hours, 1125 tests were conducted in which the reports of 40 people came positive. 21 people were found infected in Jammu province, while 19 people were found infected in Kashmir. 4 in Srinagar district in Wadi, 3 in Baramulla, 1 in Budgam, 2 in Pulwama, 1 in Kupwara, 4 in Anantnag, and 4 people were declared positive in Kulgam.

 

The total number of victims was 3 lakh. 5 thousand 650 and the total number of deceased is 2433. In Jammu province, 14 in Jammu district, 1 in Rajouri, 1 in Doda, 1 in Kathua, 3 in Poonch, and one in Riasi. The total number of victims in Jammu province is 1 lakh 74 thousand 150 and the total number of dead is 2353.
