PESHAWAR: Arrested for killing a youth who was shot dead during a clash between some Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel stationed in Sharda area of Neelum district during elections in Azad Kashmir and local police:
The heirs of the FC officials have threatened that if the Azad Kashmir police do not release the arrested officials by next Sunday, we can take any retaliatory action for which the entire responsibility will fall on the government of Pakistan.
The delegation released a video message after meeting Inspector General of Police KPK that the FC officials were going to Azad Kashmir to maintain law and order during the elections. He tortured them, snatched their weapons and took them across the river.
The heirs said that IG KPK had assured them that they would succeed in resolving the issue. He gave a deadline of Sunday and threatened that if the arrested officials were not released, Anyone can take action.
He said that in case of non-release by Sunday, there would be a grand jirga at Pattan in which the next course of action would be decided. He also hoped that before Sunday This issue will be resolved.
