Dadyal: In Dadyal, Azad Kashmir, ( Pakistan administered Jammu Kashmir) tensions reached a boiling point as clashes between police and protesters turned the city into a battlefield.

The recent crackdown by law enforcement, including baton charges and the ruthless use of tear gas, has resulted in severe injuries, particularly among students.

The situation took a dire turn when 21 girls from Girls High School suffered serious wounds due to the indiscriminate use of tear gas, leading to difficulties in breathing. As the conflict escalated, protesters and police faced off, with injuries mounting on both sides.

Furthermore, the arrest of leaders of the Public Action Committee has drawn condemnation, with demands for their immediate release. In response to the escalating violence, a complete shutdown and peaceful protest demonstration have been announced in Tatta Pani city.

Assistant Commissioner Dadyal, Sardar Faisal Mughal, became a target of the protesters’ anger, resulting in his injury and the overturning of a vehicle. With tensions running high and the situation deteriorating rapidly, the need for a peaceful resolution is more urgent than ever in Dadyal.
