Azad Kashmir: Heavy Snowfall in Upper Areas, Key Roads Blocked, Rain and Snow Expected for Three More Days

Muzaffarabad (Weather Desk): The departing winter has returned to Azad Kashmir, bringing intense snowfall to upper regions, severely disrupting daily life.

For the past two days, Leepa Valley has been experiencing continuous rain and snowfall, resulting in the closure of roads connecting the valley to Muzaffarabad and other cities. Reports of avalanches have also emerged, making travel increasingly difficult.

Due to the hazardous conditions, district authorities have advised travelers to avoid using the Leepa-Reshian road until it is fully restored.
