BJP is trying to save rapists, says Mehbooba Mufti

Srinagar: June 01 (Azadi Times) People’s Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti has said that the Bharatiya Janata Party government is trying to save the criminals involved in rape in Jammu and Kashmir illegally occupied by India.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Mehbooba Mufti said this while reacting to the Bharatiya Janata Party rally in support of Indian Wrestling Federation chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

Bhushan Sharan Singh was sexually harassed by women wrestlers. facing charges. Mehbooba Mufti said the BJP has mastered the art of using “Hindutva” to protect rapists.

Mehbooba Mufti said that when she was the Chief Minister, the JP ministers took out a rally in support of the perpetrators of the Kathua rape incident, raising the Indian flag.

Meanwhile, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) activists protested against the continued killings in the Kashmir Valley and the authorities’ failure to ensure the safety of civilians. PDP leaders said on this occasion that BJP has failed on all fronts.
