Srinagar, (IaJK): The Tulip Garden in Srinagar has shattered all previous records by welcoming over 4.46 lakh visitors in the first 15 days of the ongoing Tulip Festival 2025. The garden, one of Asia’s largest tulip gardens, surpassed the previous year’s visitor count, marking a major milestone in the region’s tourism history.
According to a statement from the Department of Floriculture, Gardens, and Parks, the garden saw a staggering 446,154 visitors, breaking the record set in 2024 for the same period. This achievement highlights the growing international appeal of Kashmir’s natural beauty, with tourists flocking to witness the breathtaking tulip display that includes 74 vibrant tulip varieties.
The ongoing Tulip Show at the garden, which remains open for several more days, is set to break even more records. Currently, the garden hosts an impressive 1.7 million tulip bulbs, adding to the spectacle that draws visitors from around the globe. The event is widely considered one of the most iconic seasonal attractions in Jammu and Kashmir, contributing significantly to local tourism and the region’s economy.
