Islamabad, Pakistan – Pakistani actress Anaya Khan has revealed that she maintains an occasional Snapchat conversation with Afghan cricket star Rashid Khan, clarifying that their relationship is purely friendly and not romantic.

The disclosure came during her recent appearance on Methera’s Talk Show, where she discussed various personal and professional topics, including her interactions with the renowned leg-spinner.

How the Snapchat Connection Began

Khan explained that she was introduced to Rashid Khan through a mutual friend on Snapchat.

“We first connected on Snapchat via a mutual friend, and since then, we’ve been in touch on and off,” she said. “He figured out I was an actress after seeing my pictures, and since then, we’ve had casual, friendly chats—just ‘hi’ and ‘hello’—but nothing beyond that.”

She emphasized that their relationship is strictly platonic, especially since Rashid Khan is married.

Cricket Chats and Compliments

The actress shared that their conversations often revolve around cricket and her work.

“Rashid sometimes asks me about my shoots,” she said. “And whenever Afghanistan plays against Pakistan or India, and he performs well, I message him to appreciate his game.”

Anaya Khan’s Ideal Man

During the talk show, Khan also opened up about her personal preferences in a partner, describing her ideal man as:

“I like tall, composed, and soft-spoken men. I don’t like overly talkative people—those who never stop speaking are a complete turn-off for me.”

Reactions and Context

This isn’t the first time Pakistani celebrities have spoken about interactions with cricketers. Recently, cricketer Shadab Khan broke his silence on rumors about messaging actresses, while actress Momina Iqbal also shared her experiences with cricketers’ messages in another interview.

Anaya Khan’s candid admission has sparked mild interest among fans, though she made it clear that her friendship with Rashid Khan remains casual and respectful.

As one of Afghanistan’s most celebrated cricketers, Rashid Khan has a massive global fan following, making any personal revelations about him a topic of curiosity. However, Khan’s remarks suggest nothing more than a cordial, professional acquaintance.
