Permission to operate electric vehicles in Azad Kashmir

ISLAMABAD (PID) The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan has taken a step forward to get rid of the monster of environmental pollution and has made a program to run electric vehicles in Azad Kashmir. Tanveer Ilyas Khan has announced a policy for environment-friendly vehicles in Azad Kashmir, Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan says that the duty on electric vehicles in Azad Kashmir has been completely abolished by the government for the next six months. The duty on hybrid vehicles has been reduced to 12% only. Electric and hybrid vehicles will be able to be driven within the boundaries of Azad Kashmir for five years, but passenger vehicles can also be driven in Pakistan with a route permit. Khan says that it will be mandatory to conduct annual inspection of government, private and all passenger and cargo vehicles across the state, while third party insurance of all vehicles will also be mandatory now. Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan says that this initiative will open the way for new environment-friendly vehicles to replace decades old vehicles in Azad Kashmir. Many important steps have been taken under the Witharan, special attention is being paid to obtaining alternative sources of energy to eliminate pollution, while plans have also been made for the sewerage of cities and now electric buses have been installed to provide travel facilities to the public in all three districts. It has been approved to run.
