Revelations of Numerous Protesters’ Arrests in Three Police Stations of Muzaffarabad Prompt Complete Media Blackout

Muzaffarabad: The disclosure of the arrests of dozens of protesters in three police stations in Muzaffarabad has sent shockwaves through the region, with authorities remaining tight-lipped about the identities and numbers of those detained.

In Kotli district, the police have confirmed two DSPs, one inspector, one ASI, and three head constables, along with over 30 constables, are injured. Sources from the protesters’ side also confirm the detention of several individuals.

A complete shutdown and curfew will remain enforced on Sunday as well, announced by the Jammu Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee, Muzaffarabad Division.
