Sardar Tanveer Ilyas once again accused the former PM Imran Khan

Former Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has said that due to local elections in Azad Kashmir, Imran Khan said to stop General Asim Munir from becoming the Army Chief on the request of Long March 2 days ahead.

 

MUZAFFARABAD: (Azadi Times) While giving a press conference in Islamabad, Tanveer Ilyas said that Imran Khan is trying to make the army and the army chief controversial as part of a conspiracy.

 

He said that the long march of Tehreek-e-Insaaf 2 days before the appointment of the army chief was part of this conspiracy. We asked Imran Khan to hold local body elections in Azad Kashmir.

 

March 2 days ahead, then Imran Khan said to stop General Asim Munir from becoming the army chief. Sardar Tanveer Ilyas said that at the time of distrust, Imran Khan wanted the army to fail him, and the army decided to remain neutral in this whole situation. Imran Khan said in the party meeting that now it is time to create an anti-army narrative.

 

He said that after a few days, his army was awarded titles like Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiq by waving a piece of paper. Sardar Tanveer Ilyas said that attacks on military installations are being carried out by sleeper cells, and the worst governance was during Imran Khan’s regime.
