Dadyal AJK: Robbery suspects arrested, stolen property recovered

Dadyal (Azadi Times – News Desk) Through a press release from the office of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Mirpur District, it has been stated that on 30-05-23, Masmi Muhammad Malik, son of Muhammad Aziz Qoum Jat Sukna Suchani Tehsil Dadyal was sleeping at home along with his other family that around 01 At 4:00 pm, 4 armed men entered the house by forcefully opening the door of the robbery room.

The robbers locked the family in a room at gunpoint and forcibly took away Rs 940,000 in cash, jewelry, and 9 mobile phones. On receiving the information about the incident, Adnan Sabir SHO police station Dadyal immediately cordoned off and started searching. During the blockade at 06:00 am, 03 bandits were arrested at Dahangali check post while going from Dadyal to Rawalpindi on public transport.

The robbers resisted fiercely during the arrest, as a result of which 02 police constables Masood Shah and Naveed Ahmed were injured.

Among the accused who were arrested 1. Bakht Rawa, son of Mahmood Qoum Pathan, resident of Tehsil Samar Bagh, District Dir 2. Aminullah, son of Umar Khan, resident of Tange Tehsil, District Charsadda 3. Saeed Nawab, son of Aftab, a Pathan resident of Charsadda, is included.

Stolen goods recovered from the possession of the robbers, including 09 lakh 40 thousand rupees in cash, 02 mobile phones, 07 small mobile phones, and gold jewelry with a total value of 12 lakh rupees were recovered. Weapons used during the robbery in which 02 pistols with 30 bores and 02 magazines have been recovered.

The search is on for the fourth dacoit who escaped. The accused belong to KPK and are being investigated. Action will also be taken against those who provide accommodation to robbers.
