Decision to create agricultural farms to meet the food security and nutritional needs of Azad Kashmir

Muzaffarabad (PID) Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan has taken an important step to meet the food security and nutritional needs of Azad Kashmir. Decision to establish large agricultural farms of Azad Kashmir in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan. Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan directed Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Qudous Bizenjo, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan and Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Barrister Khalid Khurshid to allot land for the establishment of large model agricultural farms in Azad Kashmir. The Prime Minister has moved to allot 25 thousand acres of land from the Sindh government, 30 thousand acres from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, 1 lakh acres from the Balochistan government, 50 thousand acres from the Punjab government and 02 acres from the Gilgit-Baltistan government so that the food needs of Azad Kashmir can be met. Along with meeting food security can also be ensured. The development and other expenses of these agricultural farms in all provinces and Gilgit-Baltistan will be borne by the Azad Kashmir government. Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said in this regard that the government of Azad Kashmir wants to develop agriculture farms in other provinces for the purpose of food security by acquiring land plots with agricultural potential and making them agricultural farms. Develop accordingly. This process will not only increase the economic development of the state of Pakistan but also increase the connections between the state and the provinces. He said that most of the area of ​​Azad Kashmir is difficult and mountainous terrain and despite having countless types of plants etc., the cultivable area is less. Due to which commodities are insufficient for the needs of the population, therefore agricultural farms are being developed in Pakistan. The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that the development of agricultural farms of Azad Kashmir in all provinces and Gilgit-Baltistan will lead to creating a revolutionary and indelible story in the history of the state.
