The police station in Chanari acted swiftly, arresting the accused and registering a case.

The accused, Abdul Aziz Salharia, son of Muhammad Sharif Suhsria, was apprehended by Iftikhar Hussain Awan. The police have charged him under sections 489Z and 294PC, and the SDM Hattian Bala has granted a two-day remand for further investigation.
